Tour Plan
- 07:00 AM – Departure from Marrakech
- Pickup from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and start the journey towards the High Atlas Mountains.
- Drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m)
- Enjoy scenic stops for panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and Berber villages.
- Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou (Approx. 11:00 AM)
- Explore the UNESCO-listed ksar, one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Morocco.
- Walk through the narrow alleys and climb to the top for a spectacular view of the valley.
- Discover the kasbah’s history, once an important stop on the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara.
- Free time for lunch at a local restaurant near the kasbah.
- Continue to Ouarzazate (20-minute drive)
- Visit the Taourirt Kasbah, a 19th-century fortress and former residence of the Glaoui family.
- Optional visit to the famous Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood movies and TV shows (like Gladiator, Game of Thrones) were filmed.
- Drive back to Marrakech through the stunning Atlas Mountains
- Short stops for tea and photography along the way.
