Ourika Valley Day Trip: Cultural Immersion & Scenic Landscapes

Escape the bustle of Marrakech and journey into the heart of the High Atlas Mountains with our signature Ourika Valley Day Trip. Designed for travelers seeking a perfect blend of authentic culture, local craftsmanship, and natural beauty, this excursion offers an unforgettable look into the traditional Berber way of life.

Your day begins with a glimpse into Morocco’s rich artisan heritage. We will visit a traditional pottery workshop to watch local craftsmen shape clay using generational techniques, followed by a stop at a certified women’s argan cooperative to see how the region’s famous “liquid gold” (argan oil) is sustainably produced.

The highlight of the journey is an exclusive, intimate visit to a Berber family home. Here, you will experience world-renowned Moroccan hospitality firsthand, sharing a refreshing glass of traditional mint tea while learning about the family’s daily life, customs, and history.

For lunch, we gather at a scenic riverside restaurant to enjoy a vibrant, slow-cooked Moroccan meal served right along the banks of the rushing Ourika River. Afterward, you have the option to wrap up your afternoon with a guided, scenic hike up to the stunning Ourika waterfalls—perfect for capturing breathtaking photos—or simply relax by the water before our smooth return to Marrakech.

Return to Marrakech:

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Drive Back to Marrakech
– After spending the afternoon exploring Setti Fatma and the valley, you will begin your return journey to Marrakech. and   will arrive back by late afternoon, around 5:30 PM .
